James Greig (potter) : ウィキペディア英語版 | James Greig (potter) James Greig (1936–1986) was a New Zealand potter.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://findnzartists.org.nz/artist/6075/ )〕 He was born in Stratford, New Zealand in 1936. He studied at Wellington Technical College and went on to Auckland University to study architecture, moving to Northland in 1961 to set up a pottery studio. Between 1964 and 1967, he became the resident potter in charge of the art and design centre at Massey University. In 1968 he moved to Greytown in the Wairarapa.〔 He developed a strong relationship with potter Len Castle and was influenced by his work. 〔〔 His works are held in the collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, The Dowse Art Museum, in the Japanese Imperial household and at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. 〔 He has exhibited with The Group and the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts.〔 ==Further reading==
